The recipe features 56 ingredients like citrus peel, licorice, anise, saffron, ginger, and juniper, which are ground, macerated in alcohol and water, filtered, and then aged in oak barrels for a year. After maturation, it’s blended with sugar and caramel, delivering a rich, velvety texture with notes of bittersweet herbs, licorice, citrus, and warming spices.
